For children aged 6 to 12 (minimum 1m10).
With the Exclusive Nacelle flight, you can take our hot-air balloons on your own (alone, as a couple, with family or friends – the choice is yours).
Meetings take place at dawn in Puimoisson, next to the Pigeonnier des Banons. From the village, follow signs for Valensole on the D56/Route de Valensole for 2 km, then take the road on your left. A sign indicates the meeting point.
We welcome you and drive you to the launch site in our 4×4 vehicles.
After the briefing and safety instructions, you will help inflate the hot air balloon. We prepare the equipment ourselves and prefer to avoid our passengers having to handle heavy loads.
For an hour to an hour and a half, you will fly in peaceful silence over the unexpected landscapes of the Alps.
After the flight, a country-style buffet of fresh regional products (cheese, cold meats, wholemeal bread, red wine and fruit juice) is served in a small rural spot near the meeting point. Allow around 4 hours for this activity.
You will need to wear seasonal clothing, preferably cotton, comfortable enough to step over the basket, shoes that stay on your feet, such as trainers or walking shoes (you will not be allowed to board without suitable footwear), trousers, a jacket, jumper or fleece before the flight.
We use balloons that can carry a maximum of 6 passengers for a more convivial experience. For groups, we fly with several balloons.
Please note that this activity can be physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness. You must be able to board our gondolas without assistance, remain standing for one to two hours, and be able to maintain a suitable position for landing in windy conditions.
You must be able to hold on tightly to the handles provided on board, with your legs bent and your back against the gondola, for several minutes. I would like a hyperlink to the DGAC’s ‘safety instructions’ brochure in this email.
Pregnant women are not permitted to board, and we ask that you inform us if you have any prosthetic limbs (hips, knees) or any other physical condition. The pilot may decide to refuse boarding if he or she considers that your physical condition does not allow you to fly safely.
If in doubt, seek advice from your doctor.
